Over 50 years and still looking as sharp as ever - the Arne Jacobsen 1950s Dot stool is back on the market, courtesy of Fritz Hansen.
There's nothing revolutionary about this 1953 gem, but with a stylish and simple design along with a dollop of colour, it's hard to resist. Designed as a stacking stool, the Dot has a chromed frame with a painted beech 'seat' in a choice of white, black, orange, lime or rose.

3107 dining chair

It takes nine sheets of veneer, two layers of cotton backing, up to five coats of paint, and 11 days to make a 3107 chair.
It is the classic chair by Arne Jacobsen often designated as "The Butterfly" or in Dutch "vlinderstoel". Unlike other chairs of the same type, the 3107 is specially manufactured with fabric in between the wood layers for extra flexibility and durability.
It is available in a large variety of colors and can also be upholstered in leather. ROOM has quite a choice in stock, please inquire.

The world famous Egg chair designed by Danish Architect Arne Jacobsen in 1958 and manufactured by Fritz Hansen will launch its 50th Anniversary in 2008 with 999 limited edition designs. The limited edition collection will for the first time include chocolate brown suede on the back and dark chocolate brown leather on the front. The sophisticated combination of leather and suede is perfectly complimented with a base in solid bronze; hand polished to create a unique finish. The bronze base will darken in appearance, becoming more beautiful over time. Each of the 999 Eggs will be individually engraved. A special, limited edition 50th anniversary book will also accompany the chair.

This clock was designed for the National Bank of Denmark in Copenhagen in 1971. The hour markers comprise twelve squares, with the relevant square filled according to the hour. This clock has become an Icon of Modern Design. This is an authentic re-edition, fully authorized by the Arne Jacobsen estate. Material: Curved crystal glass, aluminium, quartz movements. Available in diameters: ø 160 / ø 210 / ø 290 / ø 480 mm.

3208 the Lily

Arne Jacobsen 1970

The 3208 was originally designed and presented on the Danish furniture fair in 1970 and is possibly the most beautiful armchair by Arne Jacobsen. Jacobsen used the 3208 in his furnishing of the Danish central bank, and the chair was in production until the end of the 70's. The production process was and is very difficult; the curves of the shell required substantial pressure which resulted in about ¾ of the finished shells being rejected, and it was consequently discontinued. Through the years, production methods have been improved and therefore the 3208 could be reintroduced with the more poetic name, the Lily. Today it's an exclusive, upgraded version of Arne Jacobsen's design available in red, white and black lacquer and also with black leather.
