The new Black Leather Drop comes in black Basic leather with black powder coated steel legs and is made with a double piping and stapled and sewn into shape.
The Drop™ chair was designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1958 as part of his masterpiece, the legendary Radisson Blu Royal Hotel in Copenhagen.
In 2014, Fritz Hansen relaunched the Drop chair with a new fresh design in a plastic and an upholstered version.
Since its launch the chair has had a great success in selling; over 25.000 pieces worldwide thanks to its simple design and its great comfort and easy use.
Following the introduction of two new plastic colours in the beginning of 2016, Burgundy red and Shadow grey, Fritz Hansen now introduces a new leather version of the chair at a competitive price for the consumer.
This is noticeable by the stitching on the seat and in the bottom of the chair.
The chair is upholstered with cold cured foam and shielded with black Basic leather.
The foam is polyurethane (PUR) foam and has been made without using Freon.
